News Update
December 2009, Jimmy Taylor, one of our disabled Veterans and his wife Becky has donated a Cushman to the rescue. We thank him for his generous gift.
August 2009, my daughter Olivia and her friend, Cheyenne, horsing around with the horses. Once ever summer we get to have Cheyenne for a few weeks. Cheyenne is a wonderful girl, she loves animals. We love it when she comes to visit.
July 2009, Our daughter Olivia having a great time dragging the property with our friend Mr. Tip's Harrow. She had such fun that we had to make her stop when it finally got dark at 9:30 at night. This went on for days.
June 2008, We are fostering a mare that adopted three foals for a rescue in California. This sweet mare was left at the feed lot when her three herd mates were loaded on to the kill truck. Even though she already had a foal of her own she took on the other babies that were left motherless. This is a very rare and we were lucky to have seen it.
Nursing four foals was hard the the mare so we supplemented with formula.
